Our Firefighters operate out of three stations and serve an area of 15 square miles that includes over 14,000 residences and 820 businesses. The department provides fire suppression, emergency medical services, technical rescue, and hazardous materials mitigation to the City of Alcoa community. The department uses up-to-date technology and actively supports the community through public fire education, fire prevention, and emergency response.

Applicants must possess a valid TN driver’s license, HS Diploma/GED, be at least 18 years of age, and must pass pre-employment screenings that include but are not limited to drug screen, entrance exam, physical agility test, and interview process.
