Latest data suggests rapidly deepening low pressure along the coast near OR/CA border, which is commonly referred to as a "bomb cyclone". This means the potential for high winds along the Southern Oregon coast and widespread windy conditions elsewhere. And when there's cold air in place when this low arrives? This could bring heavy snow and dangerous conditions for travelers in Northern California and Southern Oregon. There's still uncertainty in track and strength of the low pressure, but confidence is increasing for significant travel impacts during some of the busiest travel days of the year.
