When shipping containers of fresh produce arrive at the Port of Wilmington, maintaining the right climate conditions is critical to prevent spoilage. We recently refilled the onsite fuel tanks that power the generators and temporary HVAC equipment needed to keep produce fresh and ready for distribution. We also caught pics of a double rainbow while on the job!

Having reliable access to fuel can make all the difference in an emergency. Recently, when a fire broke out at a scrap metal recycling facility in Darby Township, our team was at the scene in no time to refuel the local fire department’s fire truck onsite. Thanks to the dedicated firefighters and police officers, the fire was extinguished within hours, and no serious injuries were reported. We were happy to supply the fuel needed to get the job done! Job Position: Fuel Truck Driver

This position does not require a HAZMAT or CDL, but it is a plus to have either one.

Responsibilities for this position (but not limited to):
✅ safely operate company pickup trucks
✅ haul fuel and flat deck trailers
✅ operate forklift to load and unload fuel tanks and totes
✅ troubleshoot electric and battery pumps as needed
✅ operate gas-powered pumps, pressure wash machines
✅ safely fuel construction equipment, generators and other machines

Requirements:
✅ experience in the fuel industry or equipment rental business is a plus
✅ ability to lift 50 lbs
✅ driving large pickup trucks and hauling trailers
✅ able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
✅ forklift experience is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $27.00 per hour
