We had a great evening connecting with Chamber members, catching up with familiar faces, and enjoying AAA’s hospitality. A huge thank you to the AAA Astoria team for hosting us and putting together such a fun evening, including a fantastic raffle basket!

Happy Anniversary to us! 🥳 Today marks the official 153rd anniversary of the Astoria-Warrenton Area Chamber of Commerce!

For over a century, our Chamber has had the honor of serving as a catalyst for business growth, a convener for leaders and influencers, and a champion for a stronger community across Astoria and Warrenton.

From supporting our vibrant local small businesses and hosting community events to promoting our incredible North Coast region to visitors, our mission has always been driven by the amazing people and businesses that make this area home.

Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for our Coffee Networking Meeting, sponsored by TLC, a Division of Fibre Federal Credit Union.

We were thrilled to host Brannigan Vogt, Workforce Analyst & Economist with the Oregon Employment Department, for an insightful update on our local labor market and economic trends. Brannigan shared key data points highlighting Clatsop County’s steady 4.9% unemployment rate and 20,380-person labor force. The presentation covered local industry drivers—including Astoria's strong Education & Health Services (32%) and Leisure & Hospitality (22%) sectors, alongside Warrenton’s prominent Trade, Transportation, & Utilities footprint (41%)—while offering valuable context on regional workforce commuting patterns and Warrenton's rapid 58.8% population growth over the past 25 years.
