May is Mental Health Awareness Month!

According to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) over 20% of adults (more than 50 million) experience some sort of mental illness every year and 1 in 6 kids between 6 and 17 experience a mental health disorder. According to the National Institute of Mental Health, su***de is the 2nd leading cause of death among children between 10 and 14 and individuals between 25 and 34; the 3rd leading cause of individuals between ages 15 and 24; and the 5th leading cause of individuals between the ages of 35 and 44.
