What is Arthritis?
Arthritis is a general term that refers to inflammation in one or more joints, resulting in pain, stiffness, and limited range of motion.
Here are two ways Arthritis can be managed.
1. Medications: Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), analgesics, corticosteroids, and disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs) are often prescribed to manage pain, reduce inflammation, and slow down the progression of certain types of arthritis.
2. Physical activity: Regular exercise and physical therapy can help strengthen muscles around the joints, improve flexibility, and reduce joint stiffness. Low-impact activities like swimming, cycling, and walking are generally recommended.
