Step 1: Research Townhomes & Single Family properties in your area that have a Finished Basement and are located in great school districts.
Step 2: Narrow dow your search and schedule viewings for the properties that meet your preference and desires.
Step 3: Meet with the property owner and apply to lease the property (preferably for 2 years minimum)
Step 4: Find another Successful Single Mom who is interested in a room share opportunity and rent the Finished Basement to her.
Step 5: Collect your monthly rental income and invest in your business and/or retirement fund!
Note: Depending on the State you reside in, you can expect to earn $800 and more monthly in rental income. (Keep in mind that other factors such as the Basement living space etc can impact the amount you can charge in rent).
