I know we all saw the foolishness and lawlessness that took place at the Capitol on Jan 6.

Just a reminder to you. Your business insurance will coverage property damage sustained from rioting.

I pray things change for the better and that none of our businesses are ever affected by this, however, you can rest assured that 99.9% of insurance policies cover this type of event.

POLL: Are you taking the COVID Vaccine? Yea or Nay?

We can debate this topic all day! Some feel it's essential to protect themselves and their families, while others just don't trust it.
⠀
Any vaccine has the potential to do both harm and good & it's up to us to weight the risk vs. reward for ourselves & our businesses.
⠀
Many business owners who argue FOR the vaccine have valid points:
⠀
✨Lowers risk of getting COVID-19
✨Lowers risk of severe effects if infected
✨Less likely to have COVID-19 largely affect business operations and finances
✨Helps stop the pandemic and get our lives back to normal
⠀
On the other hand, many business owners who argue AGANIST the vaccine have valid points as well:
⠀
‼️It was created quickly and they want to see more data on effectiveness
‼️Honest distrust of pharmaceutical companies & the current presidential administration
‼️Worried about adverse & long-term side effects from taking the vaccine
‼️History of unethical medical experimentation performed on black communities

No matter what side of the debate you are on, one thing is true: COVID-19 has dramatically effected all of us and we all wish it would simply go away. Many things in our industry have changed because of this pandemic.

For the sake of our clients & our businesses, we have to protect ourselves, continue to adopt safe business practices and make the right decisions with the information we have right now.

I consider myself an expert worrier. Most people have a plan B. 99% of the time, I'm going to have a plan Q, R or S. 🤣 Call it a gift, but I have a knack for it. So much so that I went to college, studied and earned a degree in Risk Managment & Insurance.

Because I'm always thinking of worse case scenario, navigating/managing risk comes second nature to me. Yes, I know I'm an anomaly! Since I understand everyone doesn't think like me, what better way to help others than to help them manage their own business risks?

My style of coaching is less talking at you & more working with you to break down the importance AND SIMPLICITY of managing your risks so you don't run from the task, because lets face it...whether you do it before or after you have an unfortunate event, you are going to have to think about risk during the course of running your business.
