We started with the bedroom and closet, working through clothing, shoes, and other belongings one area at a time. We decided what would stay, what could be donated, and created more room for the things she actually wanted and used.

By the end of this part of the project, the difference was easy to see, and we were just getting started.

Community starts with showing up. 💚

Today I had the opportunity to volunteer with the LINK Community Food Distribution at North Springs High School. This program helps provide food and essential support to local students and families in our community.

The first photo is with Ms. Fulwider, the wonderful coordinator who helps bring volunteers together and makes this important program possible. I’m grateful to be part of a community that takes care of its neighbors.

We decluttered this bedroom and created designated spaces for homework, books, crafts and getting ready, all based on how she actually uses her room.

Now everything has a home, and it's so much easier to keep organized.

This isn’t a huge closet, and it didn’t need to be.

We decluttered and let go of what no longer fit, wasn’t being worn, or simply didn’t need to take up valuable space. Then we reorganized what remained and maximized the space she already had.

Now, everything in this closet fits, everything is something she can actually wear, and she can easily see and access what she owns.

No bigger closet needed. Just a space that works better.

And most importantly, the client was thrilled with the result. 🤍

Day 2 at The LINK! 💙

Back at North Springs High School today, continuing to organize The Boutique and bring this incredible community resource together.

There’s still work to do, but it’s so rewarding watching the space become more organized, functional, and welcoming for the students and families who use it.

So grateful to be able to give my time and organizing skills to a resource that does so much for our community. ❤️
