ANNOUNCEMENT! Filing fees have increased for Georgia corporations and businesses while corporate tax has been reduced.

There are several key changes for Georgia nonprofits and/or businesses with the 2 most noticeable ones being that the State of Georgia Corporations Division is now charging $10 to file your annual registrations online (it used to be free versus $10 for mailing it) and part of a multi-year shift towards a 4.99% flat rate, Georgia's new law has lowered the state's corporate income tax rate from 5.39% to 5.09%

Other Key 2026 Corporation & Business Changes:

- Annual Registration Fees: The fee for profit corporations, LLCs, LLPs, and LPs is now $60 ($50 filing fee + $10 service charge).
- Nonprofit Fees: The fee for nonprofit corporations is now $40 ($30 filing fee + $10 service charge).
- Amended Annual Registration: $30.
- Reinstatement Fee: $260 ($250 filing fee + $10 service charge).
Multi-Year Filing: Entities can file for up to 3 years in advance to save on service fees.

Happening now! Most Americans are still schocked to know that slavery still exists and is legal when it comes to enslaving incarcerated people! Prison labor (involuntary servitude) is indeed slavery and is the main reason why inceration is the go to instead of alternative sentencing.....to hold on to an unpaid workforce AKA slavery!

Starting in 1 hr! If you are self funding your nonprofit, you may want to join this free, virtual webinar that will show you how to to properly account for the money and time that you (and your volunteers) personally invest in your Nonprofit so your organization can be more attractive when seeking bigger funding opportunities. Register at https://buff.ly/47wYOex

Happening in 1 hour! FREE. VIRTUAL. Do you spend your own money & time running your nonprofit? In one way or another, whether it's their time, money, relationships, etc., most nonprofits are "Self-Funded" by their founders and/or board members. This also leads to most nonprofit leaders not properly accounting for this personal investment of time and money which means they almost NEVER get the credit they deserve when approaching potential funders.

TODAY at 1PM EST | 10AM PST, Urban Awareness is hosting a free webinar that will show you how to to properly account for the money and time that you (and your volunteers) personally invest in your Nonprofit so your organization can be more attractive when seeking bigger funding opportunities.

Attendees will receive free downloadable webinar resources and a sample Volunteer Tracking Tool that you can use in your organization to help maintain better records for your next big funding opportunity. Register for this free event at https://buff.ly/47wYOex
