Seven years ago I was bartending at a strip club when I found out I was pregnant with my boyfriend of only a few months. 🫣
I had absolutely no idea what my life was about to become.
Today I’m sitting here reflecting on seven years of running a business that has generated over a million dollars in revenue, and I still can’t fully wrap my head around it. 🥹
It started in 2019 as The Social Circle; a virtual assistant business I built from scratch, four months pregnant, with no roadmap and no guarantees.
In 2020 I rebranded to and have spent the last 6 years curating this brand and serving hundreds and hundreds of clients.
TBH I had NOTHING figured out. I said yes when I was scared, I showed up when I was uncertain, and I kept going when it would have been so much easier to quit.
I built this business with no team. No paid ads. Just organic, real, messy, beautiful business built from scratch.
I share this not to flex but because I genuinely believe someone needs to see that the most unlikely starting point can lead to the most unexpected life.
(The strip club to seven figures arc was not in my vision board, and yet here we are. 😂)
To everyone who has hired me, referred me, cheered me on, and believed in what I was building before I fully believed in it myself, thank you. You are a part of this milestone too. 🤎
