Please be careful who you trust with your taxes. 🙏🏽
This isn’t to knock anyone’s hustle, but I’ve seen firsthand what can happen when you go with someone just because they promise a bigger refund.
A client of mine left in 2022 because another preparer got him “way more” back than I did. It sounded good at the time… until now. Fast forward to 2026 — he’s dealing with a fraud notice, his entire refund was taken, and he now owes almost $7,000 from that tax year. 💔
The grass is NOT always greener on the other side. A bigger refund doesn’t always mean it was done correctly. If false information is put on your return, you are the one responsible — not the preparer.
I stand on doing my clients’ taxes the RIGHT way. I will always maximize your refund legally, but I will never risk your future with false information.
