He’s Not Done With Me Yet 💫
It’s so many things I’m thankful for. God has been working on me and through me. I’m so blessed to be in the mindset that I am in today because it’s been a journey mentally.
My favorite quote use to be “Do not follow where the path may lead; go instead where there is no path and leave a trail” - Ralph Waldo Emerson
This quote lived through me for decades. From Class President to 4 Year Business Owner. My goal has always been in the mist of helping myself; to help someone else. If I have the ability to do so I will. This quote has helped me to speak for the person who’s afraid to say what needs to be said or smile for the person who’s crying inside. I’m grateful for the gift of standing up in front of the crowd and shouting when everyone else is afraid to. Fear doesn’t live with me and I will not lead anyone in the direction where fear lives.
I’ve outlived that quote, the quote I bring into this decade is…”In between stimulus and reaction there’s space”…
We all have things to work on. If we didn’t, that means the chapter is done and there’s no more pages to your story. Having the first chapter be your last means you haven’t gone through anything that builds character or had the space to work through whatever you’re going through.
Space=Opportunity right ? So having space in between something that heightens your reaction only gives your mind the opportunity to grow and that’s what I’m learning.
I’ve witnessed myself telling people recently “I can’t give you the answer right now” or “I have to think about that” and I’m so PROUD OF MYSELF for doing that. Living with anxiety ain’t no joke chile. When you have anxiety; you’re over stimulated which causes a instant reaction. I’ve prayed for space and now I see HOW IMPORTANT SPACE IS.
Space has allowed me to create healthy relationships
Space has allowed me to appreciate people more
Space has stopped deals that would have never served me
Space has giving me TIME TO THINK about my answer.
Things may not be how you want them to be right now but in between each chapter there’s space for a better reaction … Amen 🙏🏽

Never bring sand to the beach, especially when it’s a birthday retreat 🎂🎉🥰🥂
I could list out 30 things I’ve learned over the years leading up to this but I’ll narrow it down to just 4 🥰
1️⃣Always and I mean ALWAYS put GOD 1st. He is the answer no matter what you’re going through. He hears your prayers, give him grace and patience…he has A LOT of kids to answer too
PS: give God just as many chances as that waste man who spent your taxes and claimed he was going to “flip” it.
2️⃣ When someone shows you who they are the first time. BELIEVE THEM. Especially when someone is mad or ….broke. When someone is mad or broke, watch how they move and believe them.
3️⃣ If someone can cuss at you. They don’t respect you. Using the language of the weak,dead,unruly is a clear sign of no moral so if they can flick their tongue to say anything below you, they don’t respect you.
PS: if a man can call you a bitch, he can also kill you. He thinks LESS of you.
4️⃣ Take care of yourself physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Move your body, breathe, cry and read your bible. Read the word whenever you’re feeling something. Self Care doesn’t always mean get a massage or get a facial. Just simply looking in the mirror and saying “I AM BEAUTIFUL” can change your frame of thinking 💭
