About 2 years ago, Kay and I became bizz besties and I saw so much transformation in myself and business because of it! So much so that we became bizz PARTNERS and founded Eight11 Agency. 😊⁣

What are some of the struggles you face as a black leader/entrepreneur? For us, it was underselling ourselves, finding supportive community, and mindset. ⁣
⁣
We didn’t know what we didn’t know when it came to running a business.⁣
⁣
We didn’t know how to balance our jobs and our business (or the overwhelm at bay).⁣
⁣
And we didn’t have enough support to make the kind of impact we wanted to make in our communities. It was janky, man.⁣

We don’t know who this is for but we know it’s for somebody!

Most people think that growth is one straight line, no bumps, no distractions, no doubts. Just vibes.

But that’s not what growth is.

Growth is going back to the drawing board for the millionth time because you have more clarity today than you did yesterday.

Growth is shifting your focus when something isn’t working, testing something new, and trying again.

Growth is failing forward! It’s not going to be perfect on the first try. And there’s nothing wrong with you if you haven’t gotten it yet.

You will get it. Give yourself grace. And go back to the drawing board if you need to.
