When God tells us not to do something, He’s not being a fun snatcher. It’s actually the opposite. He wants us to have an abundant life (John 10:10) so when He advises against something, it’s because He’s protecting us.
When we don’t protect our gates by monitoring what we watch, listen to, and connect with, we can open ourselves up to demonic activity. Once we receive deliverance, we need to keep our temple clean, because if not, the demons will come back with 7 of their homies (Luke 11:24-26)
