Here’s the simple fact of the matter:

No one else is doing what you’re doing the WAY you’re doing it. With your specific ideas, your specific goals, your specific passion.

So why are you risking your passion in the first place? There is no other you.

How many times have you frozen in the moment where tasks are piling up, voicemails are piling up, emails need to be answered and just thought- I don’t want to. I don’t want to do this anymore.

It’s understandable that you’d feel that way. I feel that way sometimes too. We can’t eliminate stress entirely, but we can manage it so it never hits that point- and that’s my goal. It should be your goal too.

I had a meeting with a client a few days ago. We were talking over coffee, making plans for next steps in our working relationship, the usual- and then she said this:

“I feel like I’m not doing enough when I’m not focusing 100% of my time on my business.”

It’s something I hear a lot as a , and every time it stops me in my tracks. You deserve full, entire moments of rest. Hours, days, WEEKS away from your business to rest, recharge and recoup.

It doesn’t make you a bad entrepreneur. It doesn’t make you lazy. Prioritizing your own well being MUST come first to ensure long term success.

There is no shame in taking a break.
