Happy Indigenous Peoples' Day! The land we occupy is the unceded land of Indigenous Native American people! We acknowledge the history and present acts of violence and genocide that take place on this land by colonial ancestors and powers. We acknowledge that this land is stolen and the tremendous loss Indigenous people experience including language, culture, traditions and people. We must commit to bring awareness to Indigenous Native issues, fight for environmental justice, and amplify and center Indigenous Native voices. We must stand together against their oppression!

I believe that surrounding myself with like-minded individuals who share similar goals and values can contribute to personal growth and overall well-being. I would strive to maintain a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere where open communication and collaboration are encouraged, allowing for the exchange of ideas and collective problem-solving. Such an environment undoubtedly has a positive impact on one's personal development and enables us to thrive in various aspects of life."
