Today at work a CHILD seeming to be 10 or 11 years old wore the grey skirt to the far right. Her skirt was all the way up her thigh. As I read her schools coat of arms I noticed jt is a local, very popular, and prestigious "Christian" school...

After work, I looked up their website and searched their uniform policy anf there you have it:

Line #6 says this:

"Skirts must be no more than two inches above the top of the knee. GAC approved shorts are strongly recommended under dresses and skirts. Items such as sweat pants or pajama pants are not to be worn under a skirt."

And the options you see here are the ONLY options to choose from! No longer lengths for children of parents who are respectable, modest, and reserved in the way they dress! A child dressing modest would be considered an outcast...at a 'Christian" school!

I laughed at the thought that shorts...would make a mini skirt more modest. Rather than requiring that the skirts be at or below the knee...girls are recommended to show their thighs -

Do not be deceived. Some 'Christian' schools are part of the problem of s*xualizing children. What is scary is that parents are PAYING them to do so without thinking about it. How can student defend her faith and her school dressed like that? How can she learn at a young age to have healthy self esteem and to treasure her mind over her body by de-emphasizing the exposure of her body. I sent scolding reviews with no remorse because the school bears the name of Christ. As children are being sold for s*x and this culture defiling their innocence daily, this faith based institution should know better but choose to feign ignorance to be 'relevant'.

A bit of h**p history:

It was not until 1937 that a corporation called DuPont Industries (which today still owns patents on many synthetic fibers, among other synthetic things) became involved in the h**p chronicle.

DuPont and other influential parties, including newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst, had significant interest in the synthetic fiber (nylon et al), logging, and paper industries. A campaign was launched to dirty the name of h**p, as it was potential competition for the new industrial materials being used. Unsupported claims ("the killer w**d") and a term imported from Mexico (ma*****na) eventually led to most of the western world banning a crop that once has a bright future.

In a major turnaround not so many years later, we found the governments of our nation demanding the growth of h**p and promoting its use in WWII using promotions such as the H**p For Victory video produced by the US government. Farmers were actually fined if they did not grow some h**p on their land!

After WWII, h**p was again outlawed and large corporations grew to become even larger and more powerful multi-nationals. --from H**p: From Food to Fiber (Paul Benhaim).
