A customer came to us with a clear requirement: a multiport block solution rated to 16 bar, beyond what the GEMÜ 650 platform delivers.

The result: the first multiport blocks in the GEMÜ D40 product line, part of our LEAP platform.

The GEMÜ C33 HydraLine electronic pressure gauge comprises a PTFE body and a housing made of PTFE, PVDF and FKM. It has a ceramic pressure measurement cell which is separated from the process medium by an innovative new sealing concept. This means the process medium only comes into contact with PTFE. ✅

GEMÜ has expanded the S40 globe valve series with actuator size 0 — joining sizes 1 through 6 — purpose-built for small nominal sizes and low operating pressures.

Size 0 was developed for applications with high switching frequency, delivering rapid switching cycles where space is limited.

That flexibility sits on top of what the S40 already brings to a process:

→ Maintenance-friendly design — the anti-rotation lock in the piston simplifies wearing-part replacement plus assembly and disassembly, cutting downtime.

→ Standardized interfaces — automation and drive modules mount simply, so specifying a new size doesn't mean re-engineering the control concept.

→ Visual indicator and sight glass available as standard.

→ Control characteristics — a piston liner improves sliding properties for smoother modulation.

→ Angle seat and straight seat versions, DN 6 to DN 80, 0 to 40 bar.

⚙️ In the past, process engineers faced a tradeoff: control accuracy or hygienic design — pick one.
Diaphragm valves gave you cleanability and a dead-leg-free flow path. Globe and control valves gave you a regulating cone and tighter control characteristics.

GEMÜ PD technology — "plug diaphragm" — was designed specifically to bridge the gap between cleanliness and control. A plug diaphragm in modified PTFE hermetically separates the actuator from the product flow, while also allowing for defined, characterized flow.

With a wide range of plug diaphragms available to achieve different Cv values for the same line size, the control characteristic can be tailored to the application rather than inherited from the valve style.

As a result, even “low flows” not achievable with a traditional diaphragm valve are possible.

The practical result: control behavior approaching that of a conventional control valve with a regulating cone, without accepting the cleaning drawbacks that normally come with one.

In ultra-high-purity service, the valve stops being a flow-control component and becomes part of your contamination control strategy. Every wetted surface, every material choice, every potential leach path is a variable in your purity budget.

The GEMÜ C60 CleanStar is the High Purity member of the CleanStar family — a pneumatically operated 2/2-way diaphragm valve with a plastic piston actuator. All media-wetted parts are PFA or PTFE, which is what allows it to meet strict purity requirements while offering high chemical resistance.

It's most commonly found at the supply and distribution level in semiconductor fabs, where the CleanStar series has been in service for many years. GEMÜ has also extended the line with a larger actuator size 4, which widens the range of line sizes the platform can cover.

What we'd flag for engineers evaluating it: the value here isn't a single headline number. It's material consistency across the wetted path combined with an actuator design that keeps the mechanism out of the fluid.
