🎙️ New Episode Out!

Episode 144 — Leadership, AI & the Human Future with Pete Sacco 🤖

What happens when AI changes not only how we work—but how we define our value?

I'm thrilled to welcome Pete Sacco — entrepreneur, technologist, founder of Gray Wolf Data Centers, and a self-described "modern-day mystic."

Pete shares his four-part framework for modern leadership: mastering cash flow, knowing whether you're a visionary or an integrator, becoming a master motivator, and intentionally shaping culture through stories.

We also explore the future of AI infrastructure, resilience, neuroplasticity, and why Pete believes the most important leadership lesson is that we're all connected.
If you care about leadership, culture, AI, and the future of human potential, this is an episode you won't want to miss.

Rushing through your talk signals anxiety.

Want to learn the pace that makes audiences trust you?

The fastest speakers in the room are almost never the most trusted.

And most of them have no idea why.

- They've prepared.
- They know their material.
- They show up with energy.

But the moment they start talking, something in the room doesn't quite settle.

That something is pace.

When a speaker rushes, the audience doesn't think they're nervous.

They feel it as "this person doesn't trust what they're saying" or "they don't care if I keep up."

Neither is a good place to speak from.

The speakers who consistently hold rooms, from boardrooms to TEDx stages to high stakes pitches, all understand the same counterintuitive truth.

Slowing down doesn't lose people.

It helps them lean in for every word.

There's a specific pace that makes audiences trust you and see you as an expert.

For some leaders it's the last thing they figure out.

This is mistake 5 in a course I built around the 5 things destroying great talks.

If you want to know about all the mistakes and how to fix them, DM me "COURSE" and I'll send it over.

I just got back from visiting 4 very different places.

There was only ONE idea I wanted to leave in every room.

I recently visited Jacksonville, San Diego, Tallinn and Helsinki, and it was the same idea I wanted to leave with each room.

Leadership communication is not just an art, it’s a biological event.

I spent time talking with leaders about how communication really works and how storytelling, presence, and understanding the brain can build trust and move people to action.

In Jacksonville, I worked with a group at Johnson & Johnson.

These are people who are already very, very good at what they do… and still completely open to getting better.

There’s something about that combination of experience and curiosity that creates a great room.

Then San Diego, working with veterans and first responders.

That work is always meaningful to me. It’s deep, it’s real, and it matters in a way that’s hard to put into words.

And then Helsinki and Tallinn. I hadn’t been back in a while, so that was special.

Seeing old friends, meeting new ones, and having conversations around leadership and communication that felt both familiar and fresh at the same time.

Different rooms. Same idea.

People don’t respond to information first.

They respond to what they feel in your presence.

When that’s there, you can feel the room come with you.

And when it’s not… you can feel that too.

I’m always learning from that.

And I feel lucky I get to keep exploring it in places like these.

(And yes… Tallinn is still as beautiful as I remembered.)
