BIG news for South Baltimore! 🎉
City of Refuge Baltimore has been awarded $1,028,794 from the Anne Arundel County Department of Health. The two-year grant will launch a Violence Interruption Program for young people ages 14–25 in North Anne Arundel County and South Baltimore.
The program adapts Cure Violence Global’s public health model, which treats violence as a learned behavior that can be prevented. Trusted, credible outreach workers from the community will meet young people where they are through mentoring, conflict mediation, and community mobilization.

Now hiring: Chief Advancement Officer at ATLAS Ministry, Inc.

We’re proud to partner with ATLAS Ministry, a Christ-centered ministry serving children and their families in Greene County, Georgia. Through literacy education, leadership, and character-development programs, ATLAS connects, educates, disciples, and trains students and their families to become leaders and change agents in their community. Their goal is to reach and impact at least 20% of all children in Greene County while contributing to lasting, community-wide transformation.

Through our partnership with ATLAS, Anna Yaken has helped expand its fundraising strategy, identify new funding opportunities, strengthen relationships with foundations and corporate partners, and communicate the organization’s impact to funders.

Since beginning the partnership, Anna has helped ATLAS secure more than $200,000 in funding, while also expanding its funding pipeline through numerous additional applications and new funder relationships.

We’re grateful to partner with an organization so deeply invested in the children and families of Greene County and excited to support ATLAS as it continues to grow its impact.

Congratulations to our friends at Catholic Charities of West Tennessee on an incredible Cooks & Collars 2026, presented by Paragon Bank!

400 guests came together as local chefs (the cooks 👨‍🍳) and clergy (the collars ⛪) went head-to-head for Bite of the Night. Between the live auction, silent auction, and paddle raise, the evening raised over $200,000 to move families from crisis to hope.

We’re honored to partner with CCWTN through grant writing and cheer on the work they do every day. 💙

City of Refuge’s fundraiser - The Gathering - returns Wednesday, October 21, and this year Ellie Holcomb will be on stage. 🎶

For more than ten consecutive years, City of Refuge's The Gathering has raised more than $1 million annually, powering housing, workforce development, youth, and wellness programs on Atlanta's Westside.

We're also proud to celebrate Caroline Van Eaton of Wellspring, who has provided event strategy and management for the past ten years. Her leadership has helped shape The Gathering into one of Atlanta's most impactful nights of giving.

For 14 years, Amy has been an invaluable part of Wellspring Nonprofit Resource, bringing exceptional fundraising talent, determination, and genuine care to the nonprofits she serves. She does an absolutely incredible job raising funds for her clients, and we are so proud of the difference she makes for her clients and the community.

From BCM Georgia and City of Refuge to Camp Kudzu, and the Georgia Conservancy, Amy is a dedicated champion for her clients and their missions. Her thoughtful approach and hard work help these organizations secure the resources to continue and grow their important work. Behind every grant proposal is a purpose, and Amy gives that purpose her very best.

BCM Georgia ‘s Tee It Up tournament is their largest annual fundraiser, and this year raised a record-breaking $373,000! Lorrie Stafford Senior Consultant at Wellspring, managed the event and helped bring this milestone to life. Wellspring is honored to stand alongside BCM as they change lives across our community.
We’re so grateful to every golfer, sponsor, and supporter who made a BIG difference for the people and programs this event supports.
Undra Slaton is a graduate of BCM’s Budget for Life program. She stated: “Throughout the Budget for Life program, I learned how to budget and make better financial decisions. The program made me more intentional about prioritizing my needs over my wants. I was able to pay off credit cards, refinance my car, and my credit score increased tremendously — close to $12,000 paid off. Upon completing the program, I purchased my first home, creating an opportunity to build generational wealth for my family. My family and I cannot thank BCM enough.” 🏡 Stories like Undra’s are why fundraisers like Golf Tournaments matter. A special thank you to BCM for allowing Wellspring to walk the journey with you.

When a family's housing is at risk, the first thing that often slips for a child is school. 🏫

That's why we're proud to spotlight clients and partners who reach families before a crisis becomes an eviction. BCM Georgia is leaning into its relationships with Atlanta Public Schools and Fulton County Schools, working alongside district social workers to connect families with help early.

This August, APS families gathered at North Atlanta High School to learn about the support available to them. BCM's Chief Program Officer, Eloise Bracey, was there in person to answer questions and walk parents through how emergency rental assistance, wraparound services, and financial coaching fit together. Wellspring is pleased to have facilitated BCM’s strategic plan, which led them to this incredible collaboration. Jenn McEwen facilitated BCM’s most recent strategic plan on Wellspring’s behalf. Wellspring’s own Amy Standard Pauls has worked with BCM for almost 10 years, writing grants to help their programs grow and serve more people.

Stable homes keep parents working. Stable schools keep children learning. We're proud to support organizations working to hold both together. 💙

Back to work after Labor Day!👨‍🏭

Wellspring is proud to celebrate our partner City of Refuge and the incredible impact of a successful job training program made possible through a $1.9M+ U.S. Department of Labor H-1B grant.

Together, this investment is helping launch a clean energy training program right here in Atlanta, equipping 320 unemployed and underemployed individuals with the skills they need to build careers in renewable energy, transportation, and broadband — three industries powering our region’s future. 💪🔋

And the impact is already underway! This past month, City of Refuge celebrated the graduation of a welding cohort, while their solar students had the opportunity to visit Cherry Street Energy and see clean energy careers in action. ☀️⚡

At Wellspring, we’re proud to write life-changing grants for partners who are opening doors, creating opportunity, and helping more people enter and thrive in the workforce.

What a moment for our community! 🎉
We’re overjoyed to celebrate two of our clients, City of Refuge and Gilgal, as they wrapped up their capital campaigns with ribbon cuttings hosted by Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens.

City of Refuge raised an incredible $35 million through its Breaking Barriers, Building Momentum campaign, and Gilgal reached $1.5 million with Restoring Gilgal, Restoring Lives.

Together, these campaigns are adding new housing units across Atlanta—giving families experiencing homelessness a real path to independence and a place to thrive.
Congratulations to both organizations. We’re so proud to walk alongside you. 💙
