We are very proud of our work on the Sons of Atlanta Vietnam War Memorial. At just over 18 feet each, the forms represent the 5 branches of the military. The stainless steel forms are fully welded and ground. The fabrication required a lot of planning and patience. The Memorial is in Piedmont Park near the 14th Street entrance.

“Pure Americana” originally fabricated about 20 years ago. First exhibited at the GA Museum of Art in Athens. After that, it went on loan for several years at The Hunter Museum in Chattanooga. It finally ended up as part of the permanent collection at Brenau University in Gainesville, GA.

Between the years of 2017 and 2020, The Ironworks built the 25 foot aluminum trawler, T Cup. We cut and formed the plates, welded the hull and pilot house, wired the electrical system, installed the engine and exhaust along with countless other systems and functions. Since her completion, she has cruised the entirety of the GA coast, the SC coast, and the full length of Lake Lanier . Most recently, she sailed from Mobile, Alabama to New Orleans in the Gulf of Mexico. She is pictured here on the Mississippi River in front of St Louis Cathedral in Jackson Square in the New Orleans French Quarter. Truly an amazing project.
