🚨 NEW UPDATE: Yellow Fever Vaccine Requirement for Travelers 🚨

Costa Rican health authorities have announced a critical update regarding Yellow Fever vaccination requirements effective from May 11, 2025.

🌎 Travelers, irrespective of nationality, journeying to or from the following American countries MUST provide vaccination proof:

- BOLIVIA
- BRAZIL
- COLOMBIA
- ECUADOR
- GUYANA
- FRENCH GUIANA
- PARAGUAY
- PERU
- SURINAME
- VENEZUELA
- TRINIDAD & TOBAGO

🌍 Additional countries in Africa are also included.

Key Points:
🔑 The vaccine is a one-time dose available at private pharmacies.
🔑 Post-vaccination, travelers must secure an official certificate.
🔑 Exceptions exist for infants under 9 months, individuals with severe egg allergies, immune conditions, and those with medical contraindications.
🔑 Travel agencies, airlines, and tour operators must validate vaccination proof pre-ticket purchase and boarding.

The mandatory enforcement date is now May 11, 2025, with the Ministry of Health strongly advocating for proactive vaccination.

Dear Amstar Team Cancun,

Woohoo!!!! Amazing work you guys! We just bring them to your doorstep, but you are the ones that make it happen and make our clients happy! Thank you for all you do, for your professionalism and your great products. First impressions upon arrival and final impressions upon departure really make the difference of how our important attendees feel when arriving disoriented, especially with covid protocols. Then after coming outside into the chaos you greet them with huge signs and smiles graciously in your bright blue uniforms (like 50 of you outside in the waiting area) and then each one of our guests is escorted personally to their clean private vehicles with fresh cold waters, drinks and iced towels; it makes all the difference. On the back end you always make sure everyone feels perfectly at ease with exactly where to go once they hit the airport curb and that they are not accosted by porters & vendors on either end, which creates chaos and confusion to inexperienced travelers. Thank you for doing all the details!

All my best to all of you and the team at Amstar across Mexico, the Caribbean, Costa Rica and beyond, you are terrific partners and we need this as we rebuild our business volumes in 2022 and beyond!
