Open-known donations are when the intended parents and their selected egg donor have the option to meet and exchange personal information. All parties have comfortably and mutually decided prior to contract formation that the donor and intended parents will exchange contact details, thus removing the anonymous nature of the cycle. This in no way means the egg donor will be required to be a part of the child's life. An anonymous egg donor cycle means that the intended parents have no idea who you are and a semi open know cycle is a good balance between the both.
