I've seen it. You've seen it. We've all seen it. (And a lot of us have even done this...)

You know, the job post that includes 50-11 very different roles and somehow expects one person to do all of them well.

Admin. Sales. Social media. Customer service. Project management. Graphic Design. Email Marketing. Bookkeeping. Maybe a little tech stack optimization too.

I have to be honest...

One person won't be great at every single one of these functions. And when they mess up, you'll be frustrated when you have to retrain, redo, and rehire.

So before you hire, ask yourself, is this really 1 job or is it 2, 3, 4, or 5?

And if you're really not sure...
That’s exactly the kind of thing my Delegation Blueprint helps you figure out before you start hiring.

You'll walk away knowing:
- What you should delegate
- What you should keep doing yourself
- What could be automated
- What can be eliminated altogether
- What kind of skill/expertise the work requires
- What type of support model makes the most sense
- And more.

Instant gratification is wrecking people’s expectations around virtual support.

> Social media: “I expect to go viral after the first post they make.”
> Email marketing: “My welcome email sequence open rate should be 55% on day one.”
> Admin: “I hired them to reach out for speaking engagements, and I should have a new client within a week.”

Fast isn’t the same as good. You have to give it time to compound. They have to learn what does and doesn’t work.

Many people drop support too soon because they’re expecting immediate change that pretty much no one could deliver.

If you’re looking to hire fractional virtual support without the hassle, let’s talk!

Hiring one person and expecting them to know how to do everything under the sun WELL, is a setup for failure.

No one person is great at everything.

And even if they figure out how to get it done, that doesn’t mean it’s done well enough to get results.

The time they spend figuring it out? Isn’t free. You’re paying for it.

So next time you’re about to hire one person to handle:

→ Admin
→ Customer service
→ Sales
→ Workflow set-ups
→ Graphic design
→ Social media for all platforms
→ Email marketing
→ And more

Don’t. Hire fractional virtual support specialists instead to handle just 1 or 2 functions each. They’ll get it done faster, and they’ll get it done right.

Wondering how much it costs to hire fractional virtual support? Honestly, there isn’t a simple answer because so many factors determine this, including...

> Are they doing implementation, systems, or strategy?
> What tasks will they handle? Some command a higher rate than others.
> Are you hiring them yourself, using a freelance marketplace, or going with an agency or managed support company?
> Do you need them to be available on weekends/afterhours?

Each of these can affect the rate, among many others.

Many people don’t hire virtual support because they believe there’s a lot of hand-holding and micromanaging involved.

In fact, I saw a post on Reddit some months back where someone said, “They’re a total waste of time and money. It takes longer to explain to them what you want than it does to do the tasks yourself.”

And honestly? They’re not 100% wrong. Because there are virtual assistants that aren’t great. But... that experience often comes from the version of VA they hired: the one that’s super low-cost and task-oriented.

Something shifts when you hire a virtual support specialist who’s focused on helping you achieve better outcomes, though, like:

> Reducing client response time from 24 hours to under 2.
> Delivering service 50% faster with zero drop in quality.
> Cutting no-show rates by tightening up your booking and reminder flow.
> Growing email open rates by rewriting subject lines that actually get read.
> Turning a backlog of 200 unanswered inquiries into an inbox at zero.
> Catching a billing error before it becomes a client complaint.

That’s the difference between someone who needs managing and someone who manages the work.

Bottom line: if you don’t want to do all that handholding and micromanaging, hire individuals with a level of expertise that doesn’t require it.

A lot business owners and leaders are skeptical about hiring support. And I understand why, having been in the virtual support industry since 2015.

You SHOULD be cautious because the wrong hire can cost you time, money, clients, your brand reputation, and more.

Given the weight of this decision, it isn’t one where you should just “wing it” and see what happens.

So let’s talk if you want to hire virtual support without the hassle and hiccups.

Many business owners seek entrepreneurship for freedom, but never actually take time off.

You absolutely deserve to TTO (Take Time Off) without feeling guilty or thinking that
everything will fall apart.

Maybe it's time to explore how flexible virtual support solutions can make taking a vacation or just a well-deserved break possible.

Many business owners will spend $80 on a dinner out on a random Tuesday without thinking twice.

But when it comes to hiring virtual support to respond to their clients, manage their social media, or streamline their operations, they're suddenly a bargain hunter.

That's the contradiction nobody talks about.

The same logic people use at checkout -- "you get what you pay for" -- often disappears the moment they start thinking about hiring virtual assistants. And it costs you more than you think.

Not just in money. In time, in missed details, in having to redo things yourself.

The rate is just where it starts.
