Last October, I left town one weekend to go wedding dress shopping with my mom and Aunt.

When I got back, picked me up from the airport and when we got home, he told me he wanted to show me something in the garage.

I barely hit the corner and noticed a grey front end…

Me: wait, what’s that?!

Dredrick: something for you…go look.😊 *hits the button so the door raises*

Me: *steps into the garage* and 😭😭😭😭!!!

Dredrick: you’ve been wanting a coupe for a minute and holding off on getting your dream car longer than you had too…so I bought you something you can love in the meantime.

*the tears are uncontrollable at this point* and all I just kept saying, “baby, oh my God - THANK YOU!”🥹😭

Never have I ever experienced such a sweet and thoughtful act of love.

God truly has blessed me with a man who is so mindful of me and in ways I never even thought to pray for.🥹

Slides 7-10: surprising for his 40th bday with a full week off (IYKYK), his entire family from Ohio, a weekend full of events, and then a trip to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. 🇩🇴☀️🏝️

- 2 weeks later we celebrated our 2 year anniversary. 🥰♥️

20: the waitresses at dinner were so hype for us ‘celebrating black love’ that they tried to surprise us with a dessert…but they put the words in the wrong order and then realized they were using the wrong condiment. 😂 A for effort though!🤣
