✨ Meet JAC’s Founder ✨

As we continue celebrating 8 years of Journey Adoption Consultants, we want you to get to know the amazing women who help make JAC what it is today!

Hi! I’m Leigh Ann, the founder of Journey Adoption Consultants.

Eight years ago, I took a leap of faith and started Journey Adoption Consultants because I knew firsthand how overwhelming and lonely the adoption journey could feel. As an adoptive mom, I experienced both the joys and the challenges of adoption, and I wanted to create a place where families would feel educated, supported, encouraged, and never alone.

What began as one person walking alongside a handful of families has grown into an incredible team that has the privilege of serving hopeful adoptive families across the country.

Over the years, my role has changed. While I am not currently working directly with families, I’m still actively involved behind the scenes every single day. I oversee our team, build relationships with adoption professionals nationwide, advocate for our families, develop resources and education, oversee the day-to-day operations, and continually look for new ways to strengthen the support we provide. Every decision I make is centered around one goal: helping families navigate adoption with confidence and compassion.

Looking back over the past eight years, I’m incredibly grateful. Grateful for every family who has trusted us, every adoption professional who has partnered with us, and every child whose story has forever impacted my heart.

Most of all, I’m grateful for God’s faithfulness. He has guided Journey Adoption Consultants every step of the way, and it continues to be an incredible honor to be part of so many adoption journeys.

Thank you for allowing us to serve your family. I truly believe the best is still ahead, and I’m excited to see what God has in store for the years to come.

🎉 We’re Celebrating 8 Years! 🎉

This month, Journey Adoption Consultants is celebrating 8 years of walking alongside hopeful adoptive families, and our hearts are full of gratitude.

Eight years ago, Journey Adoption Consultants was founded with one simple mission: to educate, support, and advocate for families pursuing adoption so they would never have to navigate the journey alone.

Since then, we’ve had the incredible privilege of serving families from across the country, building relationships with adoption professionals, celebrating precious placements, and standing beside families through both the joyful moments and the difficult ones. Every story has been unique, and every family has left a lasting impact on us.

We are so thankful for the families who have trusted us with their adoption journeys, the agencies and attorneys who have partnered with us, and the friends and supporters who have prayed for and encouraged us along the way.

Most of all, we give God the glory for His faithfulness over these past eight years. It has been an honor to watch Him write so many beautiful stories through adoption, and we are grateful that He has allowed us to play a small part in them.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of our journey. We can’t wait to see what the years ahead hold!

While this family has chosen to keep their journey private, we couldn’t let this special moment pass without celebrating with all of you. Every adoption story is unique, and we are honored to respect each family’s wishes while rejoicing in the incredible gift of a child joining a loving home.

A couple of weeks ago we were able to call one of our sweet families and tell them they are matched with a momma due this fall! Last week they had a call and were able to confirm the match and they have begun building a beautiful open relationship. We are so excited for this sweet second-time adoptive family to go from six to seven! 🤍

“Adopting as a single parent felt incredibly daunting at first, but my experience with Journey Adoption Consultants made the process not only manageable but truly meaningful. From the very beginning, Bre provided steady guidance, reassurance, and genuine support. She was always available to answer questions and made sure I felt confident at every step.

With their guidance, I was able to complete all of the paperwork for my home study within the two to three months they initially estimated, which felt like a huge milestone. The process was surprisingly less overwhelming than I had anticipated, although it did take time and waiting.

They created my profile book and did an absolutely beautiful job. They captured my story and heart in such a thoughtful and authentic way. I know that played a big role in my journey.

What I still can’t quite believe is how everything unfolded after that. From the time my home study was completed, I waited just over six months before my baby girl was in my arms. That timeline alone feels like such a blessing.

Throughout it all, I could tell that Bre was genuinely happy for me, not just doing her job, but truly invested in my journey and my outcome. That kind of care makes all the difference.

Last night we had the honor of calling one of our families and share with them that they matched with a momma due soon! We are pretty sure we woke them up. It’s okay though, this was news we couldn’t hold on to!
