"Can You Become Rich as a Professional Speaker?" The answer is "Yes, absolutely." Maybe it depends on what you consider to be "Rich". My wife, Debbie, and I live in a million-dollar home in a guarded, gated, country club community. We stroked a check for cash out of our personal account, paid real cash for it. I'm driving a late model luxury car, paid for. Our cash and fluid investments are in the high six digits. Our comfortable lifestyle was totally paid for by the speaking business.
BUT, there are six-million dollars homes in my neighborhood with six high-dollar luxury cars in the garage. Those people might NOT consider us rich but, there are others that do. I want to seek out online and learn from experts like Rory Vaden, Rich Hart, Eric Thomas, and Waldo Waldman (some of my favorites). Remember, if you're the smartest person in the room, then you're in the wrong room. I suggest you specialize, "Riches in Niches" by Susan Friedmann, CSP is a must-read for those looking to excel in the industry. Networking and continuous learning are key to success in this business.
