Thank you Georgia Statewide Afterschool Network for inviting the team to shine a light on the impact of out of school time programs and Georgia’s amazing BOOST grantees! I was inspired by the videos and panelists who shared their love of youth and the impact we can have on the lives of young people if we fund OST programs. Thank you Matt Ryan for inspiring others to invest in our future by investing in programs that develop young people!

Little did our founders Maria Armstrong and Tangee Allen know when they started Raising Expectations as college students and volunteers at Georgia State University that it would grow into the array of programming offerings that we have today. See the excitement and dedication in this dynamic college students’ faces and fast forward 25+ years to this now being their full-time careers that have since provided thousands of students with the opportunity to succeed and thrive in school and beyond. We’re so proud of the history that these women have created through paths to successful futures!
