Watching .stewart_ grow into such a beautiful, confident, intelligent young woman has been one of the greatest blessings of our lives.

There’s been joy, personality, and laughter in .stewart_ since day one. 😂❤️

Today our youngest daughter turns 19, and one thing that has never changed is her ability to light up every room she enters. Funny. Loving. Fearless. Full of life.

From 11 to 50

At 11 years old, I sat in Vacation Bible School at .

At 50 years old, I served the 11-year-olds.

That realization hit me hard today.

Legacy is not built in one moment. It’s built through generations showing up, serving, teaching, loving, and staying connected to God.

I’m grateful God has kept me long enough to pour back into kids who remind me of myself.

Vacation Bible School is loud. Busy. Messy. Fun.

But inside the “mess” is ministry, mentorship, memories, and moments kids may never forget.

Today reminded me that serving children is one of the greatest investments we can make.

What a Blessing. What a Legacy.

Today was a perfect day so far.

I woke up early and served as a deacon at Vacation Bible School at . While helping seat kids ages 4–13, I suddenly realized something powerful.

The last time I remember attending VBS at Elizabeth… I was 11 years old. Back then, the church was on MLK Jr. Drive. Today, I was serving at our Cascade Road campus.

The kids guessed my age between 30 and 35. I told them I’m 50. Then I reminded them: one day, they’ll be 50 too… and we’ll need them serving the next generation.

God has truly kept me.
