The core of my work centers on teaching cultural awareness and respect. In a world where we see fundamental humanity under attack, the work is even more important. To that end, I am offering an 8-week virtual summer program for teens 13-17 to reinforce standards through authentic, international learning. The link is below. Feel free to DM with any questions.

Students will enhance their literature and arts awareness while learning about various countries. This interactive enrichment course infuses multiple standards-based activities to stomp summer slump while capturing a spirit of fun!

Last Monday (MLK Day) was windy and I wasn't going to post this picture. Then I realized the message was more important than me looking "perfect". Dr. King understood that only through the celebration of ALL people could true greatness be realized. This is the message I seek to instill in my students and clients. We don't have to be perfect. We don't have to have all the answers. We just have to try. Try to be better. Try to help others. Try to see beyond ourselves to the larger world. That's when we TRULY learn to be great!
