April 2026 Edition of the US Extended-Stay Hotels Bulletin

The Highland Group has just issued the April 2026 bulletin on the US extended-stay hotel industry. April’s performance metric highlights for extended-stay hotels include:

* Supply growth rate moderates
* Largest monthly increase in demand in more than four years
* Highest monthly gains in occupancy and room revenues in more than three years
* Average occupancy 11.9 points higher than aggregate comparable class hotels

The Highland Group's bulletin segments the extended-stay industry into three price categories, from economy through upscale hotels, and provides detailed information including:

* Supply and demand for the month of April 2025 and 2026
* Room Revenues, Occupancy, Average Rate and REVPAR for the month of April 2025 and 2026
