Happy National Twin Day! 👶👶
This post shares some fun facts about twins and the history behind National Twin Day, so I thought I’d share it here in celebration of all the twin families!

There’s something truly unique about caring for two tiny humans at once. It’s so special watching two little people bond and discover their new world together.

Twins bring double the love, double the milestones, and sometimes… double the exhaustion. 🤍

Today is the first of two National Twin Days (two babies, two National Twin Days, it makes sense lol).
The first National Twin Day of the year falls on the first day of the Twins Day Festival in Twinsburg, Ohio 👶👶 This year the festival is August 7-9.
The second National Twin Day of the year is observed annually on December 18. This second National Twin Day was proclaimed in 2019.
The Worldwide Twinning rate has gone from 9 out of 1000 to 12 out of 1000 births over the past 40 years.
There are several factors contributing to the increase in twins worldwide, including fertility-assisted reproduction and women becoming pregnant with twins spontaneously over the age of 30. Twin birth rates rise with fertility assisted reproduction and with advancing maternal age.

Every family I’ve had the privilege of supporting has inspired, and continued to shape, the vision I’m bringing to life today.
What began as overnight Postpartum Doula support for families through those tender first few months, has grown into something much bigger.

I expanded into becoming a Newborn Care Specialist, having the delightful honor of caring for countless newborns, supported many families of multiples, NICU graduates, and medically complex babies.

Along the way, I discovered how passionate I am that helping families achieve healthy, restorative sleep is just as meaningful as caring for their newborns while they rest. It felt natural to extend my support through personalized Pediatric Sleep Consulting, giving families the tools and confidence to enjoy restful nights for years to come.

As my experience grew and expanded, so did my vision: to create a place where families could receive thoughtful, trusted, personalized support through every transition of early parenthood.

It became clear that this growing vision deserved a home of its own.
