Bats can rapidly vibrate their ears!🦇👂

Bats are able to adjust and twitch their ears in a fraction of a second to dynamically alter their field of view. Those vibrations help to build a detailed 3D mental map of their environment.

This Rat Snake was caught by a home owner after it was seen crawling across their floor. Unfortunately he was subdued by a gluetrap the home owner set out.
By using warm water and dish soap, we were able to safetly pull him off and release him back into the wild. After which, we sealed our customers home to prevent any future visitors!

** Before removing an animal caught in a glueboard, please reach out to a professional before trying to pull them off by force. Using cooking and mineral oil can work well to release the animal. We often recommend warm water and dish soap as the warmth helps to loosen the glues effects.**

We got a call about a possible Funnel Web spider yesterday! While this spider resembles an Australian venomous Funnel Web Spider, this is actually one of GAs largest spider species. This spider is known as a Pine Lockland Trap Door Spider!

These guys can grow up to two inches long! While they do possess large fangs, their venom is not harmful to humans. Unlike the Australian Funel-Web, which is extremely venomous but not found in the US.
