A job can be a blessing.

A career can be a blessing.

But I also believe there is nothing wrong with wanting another stream of income alongside what you already do.

That’s one of the reasons I started building online.

Not because I wanted to walk away from my career.

I wanted options.

More knowledge.
More skills.
Another income possibility.
Something I could build over time.

You don’t have to hate your job to build something else. 👏🏽

Here’s something I’ve learned:

Confidence doesn’t always come before you start.

Sometimes confidence comes because you started.

You make the first post.
You learn the first skill.
You ask the first question.
You make a mistake.
You fix it.
Then you keep going.

That’s business.

When I started learning online attraction marketing, I stepped outside of what was familiar to me. Healthcare was familiar. Building an online business wasn’t.

But I gave myself permission to be new at something.

You don’t need permission from everybody else.

Give it to yourself. 💚

I didn’t start knowing everything about marketing, content creation, personal branding, AI, or building online. I had to learn as I went.

And I’m still learning.

But one thing I understand now is that consistency will take you places that excitement alone never will. 🔥

Show up anyway.

🔥 YOU DON’T HAVE TO KNOW EVERYTHING TO START 🔥

Sometimes the only thing holding us back is the fact that we don’t want to look like a beginner.

We want to already know what to say.
We want to already know what to do.
We want to feel confident before we even start. 😩

But that’s not how growth works.

There will be times when you have to step into something unfamiliar and learn as you go. 🚶🏽‍♀️✨

Take the opportunity.
Learn something new.
Start the business.
Post the content. 📲
Go into spaces that challenge you.
Ask the questions.
Make the mistakes.
Keep going.

When I started online attraction marketing, I was still working in healthcare, and healthcare was what I knew.

Marketing? New.
Building a personal brand? New.
Creating content consistently? New.
Learning how to build a business online? Definitely new.

I had to become a beginner again.

And that’s okay. 💚

You don’t have to have everything figured out before you start. Sometimes you just have to be willing to learn, stay consistent, and give yourself room to grow.

The version of you that you’re trying to become may require you to do something you’ve never done before. 🚀

So start anyway.

Listen, you cannot stay comfortable and expect anything to change.

Growth will require you to do things that feel unfamiliar, uncomfortable, and sometimes scary. But staying in the same place because it feels safe will keep giving you the same results.

If you want something different, you have to be willing to move differently.

Get uncomfortable. Take the step. Trust yourself. Keep going. 💯

💃🏽🏃🏽‍♀️ From the ballroom to a 5K in less than 24 hours!

I volunteered at the Atlanta Seniors Ball, surrounded by beautiful energy, great music, and seniors dressed to impress.

Then the next morning, I was up and running the Winship 5K. 😂

Different events. Different energy. Same mindset — show up, give your best, and enjoy the moment.

I’m tired, but grateful, proud, and reminded that we’re capable of more than we think. ❤️

✨ Yesterday’s Senior Ball was a whole vibe! ✨

I had the opportunity to volunteer, and let me tell you — the seniors came dressed to impress! The outfits, the smiles, the confidence, and the energy were everything. 💃🏽🕺🏽

The dance floor stayed busy, and even the mayors got in on the fun with the seniors. It was such a great atmosphere to be part of.

I truly enjoyed giving my time and seeing everyone having such a good time. Moments like this remind me that joy has no age limit. ❤️
