On this Women’s Equality Day, we can choose to accept continued incremental gains for women and girls—or we can insist on something much better, much sooner.
More women, especially more women of color, need to be in positions to make the decisions, control the resources, and shape the policies that affect their lives and communities. And it can’t happen soon enough.
