ACE Garage Doors & Glass LLC is seeking a dependable and experienced Lead Technician Installer, as well as a Helper/Apprentice, to join our growing team. We are a commercial-focused company with a wide range of services and are looking for individuals who are motivated, reliable, and ready to work in a fast-paced environment.
Position Overview:
The Lead Technician Installer will be responsible for overseeing installations, managing job sites, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. Helpers will assist with installations and have opportunities to grow within the company.
Scope of Work Includes:
• Commercial and residential garage door installation and service
• Commercial glass and storefront systems
• Hollow metal and commercial wood doors
• Door hardware installation and repair
• Residential shower door installation
• Use of hand tools, power tools, torches, and welding equipment
Job Requirements:
• Ability to perform physical labor in various environments
• Comfortable working with ladders (4–12 ft), extension ladders, aerial lifts, and scissor lifts
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and occasional out-of-town jobs
• Strong work ethic and reliability are a must
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience in garage door installation or related trades (preferred, but not required)
• Leadership experience for Lead Technician role
• Willingness to learn and be trained
Compensation:
• Pay is based on experience and skill level
• Employment classification may be W-2 or 1099, depending on role and agreement
