For businesses experiencing disruption with COVID-19: in addition to cutting costs, think strategically:

1) Can you pivot to focus on your customer's short-term needs? How can you reassess your current offerings to make them more valuable for your customers (at low-cost to you).

2) Go proactive for the long-term. Refresh your approach to infrastructure, resourcing, and skills development. We will get through this, but things will not go back to "normal."

Today I did a proposal for using the Denison culture assessment with an IT consultancy in Malaysia. Not likely we'll get it, but a possible trip to Malaysia and perhaps scuba diving in the Maldives (hey, it's not THAT far) seemed worth the effort!

Article on productivity that suggests telecommuting is more productive. We've got an innovation and research client in Palo Alto, where associates commute 2 hours each way - what if they spent even 1/2 that time working - more productive? You bet!
