Quick update about Zillow

If you’re applying for a rental through Zillow, please note that the property owner or landlord may ask you to log in to your bank account to verify the income shown on the paystub you submitted.

My best advice is to consider applying without submitting a paystub upfront. This gives you the opportunity to provide an employment offer letter instead and help you avoid the hassle of having to verify the income on your paystub by logging into your bank account.

Keep in mind that the landlord’s requirements may vary, so there’s no guarantee that an offer letter will be accepted in place of a paystub.
