As a mother who recently sent a kid off the college, we faced many unknown challenges. Preparing a student athlete with subpar grades due to COVID restrictions; I learned so much as a parent, and that's to NEVER limit my kid.

Overcoming those challenges led to my son being accepted to 11 colleges, and he chose a D1 school where he is on a full ride (partial athletic and applying for many scholarships). WE had many late nights of applying to schools, college's tours, essays, changing FAFSA forms and introductory email like it was A LOT 🤯 and it paid off!

Now, I want to help other parents who need help navigating this process.

I know Eric's mentor is tired of me saying THANK YOU, but this moment wouldn't have been possible without their seamless match and those two exhibited the true value of mentorship and brotherhood. So again, thank you

The year 2023 has been dedicated to my kid, and moments like the one you see in this post, shows it was all worth it!

But, preparing for graduation, preparing for COLLEGE for a student athlete is a beast in itself, and preparing a kid to live on their own, while still parenting other kids has been a next level focus. Oh and just "LIFING" ( working and relationships)

I learned so much within this year, that I'm planning on sharing and offering additional services to help students and parents, so stay tuned!

Entrepreneurs? What obstacles or struggles did you face this week?

I'll go first, my struggle has been balancing personal and entrepreneurial life. If I'm working on my business I don't always switch gears to get back to my personal life. I've sat at my computer for HOURS completing client task or preparing for upcoming material, all while my kids are, "Mommy are you done yet?" 🤦🏽‍♀️

Yes, Consistency is KEY, but balance is most important.
