Some of the strongest people you know may be fighting battles they have never told you about 💛
They still show up. They still smile.
They still work. They still take care of everyone else.
And sometimes, nobody stops long enough to ask:
“But how are YOU, really?”
Today is World Su***de Prevention Day.
And today, I want to remind someone that a painful chapter does not have to be the final chapter of your story.
If life feels unbearably heavy right now, please tell someone. Call someone. Sit with someone.
Pray, but also allow someone to walk with you.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
Psalm 34:18
And for those of us who may be doing okay today, let’s remember to check on our people.
Especially the strong ones.
Especially the ones who are always checking on everybody else.
Your assignment today is simple: check on ONE person.
Not just, “How are you?”
Ask them: “How are you, really?”
And be willing to listen 💛
If you are in the United States and experiencing a mental health or su***de crisis, call or text 988
for the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline. If there is immediate danger, call 911.
Your life matters. Your story matters. And there can still be more chapters ahead. 💛
