I was never a fan of chatbots, they were mostly useless to me, resulting in repeated requests for "agent" or "representative". Then you were placed in the queue and told you were #15 in line. All it took was taking a call or grabbing a cup of coffee, only to look down and see "are you still there?" or worse still a disconnected chat....frustrating!
However, newer AI chatbots don't care if you take a call or a quick bathroom break, they're happy to wait for you. Additionally, they retain the chat and the context so when you need further information or have other questions, they pick up right where you left off.
AI for some is scary; the boogieman that are coming for their jobs, but for me it's been a game changer, from application development to infrastructure management, my AI tools are literally like my super-smart co-workers.
