This time around body composition is a lot better than my last show as mens physique.

We’re now prepping for Classic Physique😎

Day 1- 202.4lb

Day 5- 200

Cal: 3200
Cardio is 25mins am, 25 mins pm

5 days passed my starting point but this is where we’re at.

This time around body composition is way better than last show as mens physique!

Client Spotlight‼️

has been working with me for almost 2 months now. His goals were to lose fat and build some muscle. So here we are in a recomposition phase. Cleaning him up before we start the building phase.

Reason why we do a recomp.. not only because we want to see what’s underneath the fat but at lower body fat percentage, your body utilizes/absorbs nutrients better, metabolism is back where it needs to be, boost your mood and mental health along with lowering health risk.

When a body has excessive body fat, it actually increases inflammatory cytokines in the body, makes it harder for the body to lose fat.

If your wondering why you’re not progressing in the gym, not getting stronger or not being able to push through that last rep, most of the time you’re not training hard enough.

A lot of time when I see others working out they stop towards the end where it starts to burn, not really digging deep and going for 1-2 more reps shy of failure.

Now, I’m not saying you have to go to failure for everything. I’m saying you need to take your body pass the pain.

A great example are these leg presses I had my clients doing. This was a “Glute & Hamstring” day. Feet High and wide with toes pointed out. Driving with the heels while squeezing the glutes.

This was his last set, I told him “Empty the tank”..
Meaning you “you gimme everything you got”…
As you can see, at some point there where it looked like he wanted to give up and rack the weight. Reason why he didn’t because I was right there speaking to him/his mind telling him..”YOU GOT THIS”.. “YOU ARE STRONG”..”DON’T FCKIN QUIT”..

When your body is going through pain, the mind is going to tell the body to quit.

YOUR BODY DOESN’T KNOW WHEN TO STOP, ONLY YOUR MIND DOES!

YOU ARE CAPABLE OF ANYTHING!
DON’T EVERY DOUBT YOURSELF!

TRAINING with INTENTION-

Everybody starts somewhere in their fitness journey with little to no experience.

Don’t worry we’ve all been there!

What I see most is a lot of people will go thru the movements without really focusing on the muscle they’re trying to work on. Now this is ok for some but there will be a point where your body will no longer make improvements and going heavier isn’t going to change things. At this point, this is where you may hit a plateau.

Training with intention means focusing on executing each movement with correct form and having the mind to body connection.
In other words, targeting the muscle you’re trying to hit.

Start with a lower weight until you start feeling the targeted muscle.
Slowly add weight throughout your sets, we call that “pyramiding up” or “progressive overload”…

As your sets gets heavier,
form and connection may be off but keep in mind, we still need to make sure you’re not just going thru the movements!

KEEP IT INTENTIONAL!
