April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day and April is World Autism Awareness month. Please do what you can to elevate your awareness of the challenges children and adults on the autism spectrum face in a world that often feels alien and hostile to them. If you are an employer, please consider offering or improving access to meaningful employment opportunities for people with autism.

With the right support and encouragement, these gifted individuals can be amazing employees!

Each of these encounters reminded him of how we all have a responsibility to thoughtfully engage and treat each other well to overcome the disconnectedness, anger and divisiveness that is so prevalent in today's society. Perhaps we could all stand to be better humans...
