People will slow you down if you let them. It may not even be intentional on their part.

The doubt, the delay, the room that wasn’t ready for you, none of it gets a vote in whether you keep moving.

Since leaving Google, I've advised founders across AI and cybersecurity trying to break into federal. The mistakes are always the same. Wait for the RFP to start selling. Hire a name instead of building a system. Add headcount before activating channel.

By the time a solicitation posts, the agency already knows who they want.
