America's first Languages Caucus was announced earlier this month. "American business and their clientele are diversifying and globalizing their operations, requiring language skills to access global markets and serve a multilingual population."

The caucus will raise awareness on world language learning/education, ensure resources directed to world language learning, and work to improve access for students and educators in these fields.
