Had the opportunity this afternoon to connect with Chief Randall Arragon of the LaMarque, Texas Police Department.

Chief Arragon is an accomplished advocate of community policing and using statistical data to fight crime with accountable results. Searching the web for training that would match his vision, with no formal introductions,,he found my experience and accredited webinar on Compstat Analytics the right fit for training his agency.

After a brief tour, viewing the crime maps and listening to the results, I am honored to have collaborated with a leader to achieve his vision.

A compelling stand must be a worthy goal that inspires people to lift their vision to a higher standard, something that goes beyond normal limitations.

What an an honor to teach over 25 new recruits from regional agencies on strategic intervention and interdiction of criminal gang activities from real-world experience.

A controversial arrest which was caught on camera has Atlanta Police taking a second look at training for officers. The officer seen in the video punching the man on the ground was suspended. The chief said he used excessive force, but some other officers disagree.

Had the most rewarding experience today visiting the Harvard Kennedy School.

Those who are familiar with me know my leadership, management, and teaching style is rooted in the principles of Compstat. It is here where Compstat, created by the late Jack Maple, was recognized in an award for being an Innovations in Government.

I am honored the Creator anointed and appointed me, in his timing, to implement this world class business model when it was most needed in the FCSO.
