A-1-A / Preston's Lock Shop Full-service Locksmith. Mobile service throughout Merced County! The Shop began in Preston Roper’s garage in 1977.

We program transponder (chip) keys, for most Automobiles , also Residential ,Commercial ,and Industrial rekey Hardware Sales and Installation The Shop opened on 3rd Street in Atwater in 1981. They then moved to the present location at 1101 Broadway Ave, Atwater (corner of 2nd and Broadway), in 1989. Lisa & Art (Preston & Sharon’s daughter and son in law) learned the locksmithing business in Septem

ber 2002, then purchased A-1-A / Preston's Lock Shop from Sharon Roper in 2003. In October 2021, Art’s brother Gabriel Uribe purchased the business. He and his 2 sons, Anthony & Gabriel Jr now run the Shop.
