For 50 years, the Lincoln High School Farm has been far more than just a piece of land. It has served as a classroom, a community gathering place, and a hands-on learning environment for generations of students. 🌱🐄

Last night, the WPUSD Board of Trustees proudly received a proclamation from Assemblyman Joe Patterson recognizing the farm’s extraordinary contributions to student learning, agricultural education, and community engagement over the past five decades.

Joining members of the Board and LHS staff were two of the founding members of the Lincoln High School Farm, Pat McCartney and Mike Broyer. We were deeply honored to celebrate alongside them and recognize the lasting legacy they helped build for both our students and the community.

From teaching the importance of agriculture and stewardship to providing meaningful real-world learning experiences, the LHS Farm continues to make a lasting impact on generations of learners.

Here’s to 50 years of growth, learning, and tradition and to many more ahead. 💚
