Here’s the thing….

I’m not saying you CAN’T find a job on LinkedIn. What I’m saying is it should not be the ONLY thing you use. In fact, there are ways that you can effectively use each platform simultaneously.

I’d love to hear your take on this, as well as what your experience has been while using these platforms ( )

Endless applications and auto-rejections…
and don’t get me started on the over-saturation of applicants.

If you’ve been using LinkedIn for your job search and feeling frustrated, you are not alone. The constant “we’ve decided to move forward with other candidates” emails can start to feel personal, but it’s not a reflection of your skills, your experience, or your calling as a social worker.

The process is exhausting. The competition is high. And the algorithm doesn’t always work in your favor.

This week, I’ll be sharing other platforms and practical strategies you can use during your social work job search, because LinkedIn shouldn’t be your only option!

Stay tuned. Your next opportunity may require a different approach.

Therapists become dysregulated too 🤷🏽‍♀️⤵️

Let’s be honest, being a therapist in today’s world is not for the weak😮‍💨😤!
There are days that leave me feeling heavy and overwhelmed. Running has been my saving grace. It allows me to channel my energy into something positive while boosting my mood.

Body movement has become one of my top recommendations for clients struggling with emotional dysregulation. Movement supports nervous system regulation by increasing endorphins and other mood-enhancing neurochemicals while reducing stress hormones.

How do you regulate your nervous system as a therapist?
